Brave Contracting Ltd. is a local, family owned Edmonton based property maintenance, trucking, and skidsteer service company. We have been in business since 2012, growing from doing residential and small commercial properties to now doing year-round property maintenance, backfilling, skid steer and trucking services for some of the largest commercial properties and residential developers in Edmonton and area.
Dave and Braydon Johnston are a father-son duo that focus on delivering high quality property maintenance to both residential and commercial properties. As a small business, we put emphasis on great customer service and being there every step of the way to answer any questions and concerns our customers may have.

Dave Johnston was employed by Clarke Transport as General Manager of the Edmonton region for 20+ years. He has always had an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to start and run his own business.
In 2006, Dave founded his first company, Damar Solutions Inc. which offers transportation services including intermodal rail services throughout North America and overseas.
A few years later in 2012, Dave and his son Braydon, who embraced that same entrepreneurial spirit, teamed up to create Brave Contracting Ltd. Dave continues to be heavily involved in both Brave Contracting Ltd and Damar Solutions Inc.

Braydon Johnston began his career in heavy machinery working as a mechanic for Trailer Wizards in Edmonton throughout his high school years. After completing high school, Braydon had enough mechanical knowledge to fix and run numerous pieces of equipment, and bought his first trailer and skidsteer to begin Brave Contracting Ltd as an owner-operator in 2012.
Brave continued to grow and expand, and although Braydon continues to work hands on with his crews, he also manages the trucking and residential development department of Brave, and works on all types of equipment in the shop. His talents in mechanics have been essential to running the numerous pieces of equipment Brave continues to add to it's fleet to serve our customers better each day.
